We’re building for the next generation of farmers and ranchers in Alaska villages

There are no rules when you need to provide food security . . .

Through our elders’ wisdom, our youth’s dreams, and our parents’ vision, we embrace our cultures to strengthen our food security and traditional lifestyle.

Our core activites

At AVI, we are committed to serving socially disadvantaged Alaska Native farmers, ranchers, and village small-scale agriculture producers. Rural Alaska needs are at the heart of our services.

We provide comprehensive support to Tribal Conservation Districts. This includes NRCS application document assistance, Board and member training, conflict resolution, assistance in developing documents for USDA FSA funding programs and application process, and creating marketing plans. AVI is here to support you every step of the way.

We provide practical technical assistance in developing business plans for our stakeholders, including agriculture business assistance, conservation best practices, and ranching opportunities.
